“good hotel but small rooms”

Well situated between trainstation and beautiful old city on the bank of the river. Contemporary modernistic "design" architecture. Complete "wellness" facilities on top floor available free to residents. Varied breakast buffet. Bar on top floor very minimalistic decoration and great view.
Clean, brandnew hotel. If you travel as a couple : do not take the standard room (should be described as a "single". It is very very small for two adults. Just one chair,no drawers and limited storing furniture. Pay extra for a bigger room. This confined space spoiled our two-days stay there significantly.

Stayed here in Solothurn over New Year's. The hotel is very close to the train station and to the old town (about a 5 min walk in either direction). The hotel is located next to the river. The hotel is new and nicely decorated, minimal and modern. We stayed in a double room and the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. The hairdryer is wonderful, different heat settings and very powerful. Bathroom was a bit small, but still nice. There is also a flat screen TV in the room.

The hotel has a wellness spa with saunas and massage therapies, although we did not try it. There is also a restaurant and bar on the top floor, which we did not go see, but heard from another guest that it was nice and you can see the city. Definitely would recommend this hotel.
