Clean, confortable, very good breakfast buffet. Hotel without personality: we stayed here because everywhere was full...we probably wouln't have chosen this hotel otherwise. Overall, this is a good hotel even if too much expensive.

I stayed here in jul 2007 during my first trip to europe and this was the most expensive hotel of all. I had high expectations but was disappointed when we had some problems with the counter staff. the counter staff was rude to us and the lady was not helpful when we asked for directions. She was rude when we requested for a swiss adapter as well. the rooms were big and clean but very noisy as it overlooks the street. overall I do not think that the hotel is worth paying so much for.

I stayed there in October 2006. The hotel is very clean, rooms are very basic but comfortable. They have showers with great water pressure. Two things of note: 1. Breakfast is included in the rate, and is really good for a hotel in this price range. A full hot breakfast, with lots of choices: cereals, meats, cheeses, bacon, eggs, breads, etc. 2. The hotel is across from the train station and the rooms on the side of the hotel face the walkway that all pedestrians must use to walk to the center of town, and they also face a bar that is pretty noisy. The windows are very well soundproofed so if you close them fully it was pretty quiet in the room (and I am a light sleeper) but I can imagine it might be uncomfortable in warm weather because the hotel is not air conditioned, so you would have to choose between quiet and fresh air. If you had a room facing the other side this would not be a problem.

I was at the "BW Bahnoff" just for one night but it was a good experience.

The hotel is placed just in front of the train station (bahnoff) so is easy to find and is a real good place as you are in the shopping area of the city. Rooms are really large, even with a small dressing room. Unfortunately they seemed to be a little old being in grey. The room was absolutely clean but there is no air conditioning (there was a stand-up fan).

The breakfast was really ok and the bar is a really nice place.
