Pension Panorama is well located, near the old city und close to the lake. Good service, Breakfast room with very senic view!!
The Beds are good and clean! It´s not a *** star hotel, simple style, our room was quite large. Parking is for free. We did stay there for a weekend trip, the lake und the mountains are close by.

After I read other reviews, I think it's true that the stair to the place is quite something and you need to be careful about the lift. However, I don't think those are my problems. I think the room was good. It got a big wide window that you can have a nice view of the town. So, climbing the stair was not a too bad idea. Staff is nice and price is cheap. It locates about 20 minitue walk from the train station.

the pension is well located, but the first thing that you notice when you get there is that it smells like hundred of cats used the place as a toilet.. tha up stairway to the pension is very heavy and no one comes to help you. the lift is unsafe and finally the rooms are very very dirty. dust everywhere and, what's worst, they do not change the sheets in the beds, you can find anyone's hair in them. you can't sleep there.cheap doesn't mean dirty!

Quite well-located in the Luzern city center but the up-stairway to pension could kill you if you arrive with big suitcases! The rooms come with a good view to Luzern downtown but the decoration looks like 70's hostel rooms. Also, the lift is not very safe - always keep your fingers and belongings well away from the lift doors!

Another note for ladies - try not to go out after sunset as the pension and its close surroundings are unpleasantly dark. Besides, the room door locks are big enough for someone to peep through what you are doing inside! Don't forget to cover it with something.

It could be a good deal for backpackers although most rooms do not come with tap water and are terribly dim at night. But the cost of CHF90.-/night is a bit unreasonable. I'd rather choose either youth hostel which is approx. CHF30.-/person/night or a two-star hotel for approx. CHF110.-/night.
