I'm always satisfied when I stay at Les Arcades. The service is very good, the hotel is well located for someone who travels for business, in front of the Cornavin station. I like very much the breakfast served there and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Je confirme,donc que l'emplacement de l'hôtel est énorme atout. Pour les voyageurs qui cherchent un hotel familiale, celui-ci vous conviendra.

Based on reviews I have read on this web-site and others, I have booked three nights in this hotel, that offered best prices for a very expensive Geneva.

This is a 2-star hotel, so you cannot expect too much. Exactly for this reason, I found it a very pleasant surprise.
The rooms are not too small, it was spotless clean, staff was helpful, it is nicely decorated and furnished. Definitely a nice experience.

As mentioned in otehr posts, this hotel occupies the second floor of a building. At night the door downstair is closed, you just need to ring the bell and they will open the door for you.

Now, on a side that is open for you to consideration:
1. internet connection is not stable (at least in the 3 days I was there)
2. the hotel is just across from the train station. This means that what lays out the hotel is traffick and not the most reccomandable people (look like, but i don't think you can have real propblem there. Just watch out to your belongings).
3. Because is in a trafficky area, it is noisy if you open the windows. The windows isolate ok when closed, but is still a bit noisy, especially if your room face the main road (where the station is).
4. I noticed there is no air con, so in summer if you open the windows... see point above
5. the walls between rooms are thiny. So if you get loud neighbourgh...
