I staid in this hotel for 2 months because my company was paying it... otherwise I would have escape the first day.
The hotel is well located (near the train station) but the rooms are very small and noisy (even if I tried 2 different rooms with very different standars).
Internet didn't work correctly. I had a microwave put in a chair because my oven wasn't working. The reception closes very early and the sunday, but even openned it's hard to get the answers to your questions there.
It would be nice for a budget residence, but for a supposed to be 4 stars at this price, you can find much better !

I think the title says it all. I stayed in this hotel for a couple of weeks and really hated to come back every single night. The soundproofing is pretty bad and you can hear your neigbours, or if you are staying on the first floor, the threadmills of the public gym below you. The furniture is very worn and dirty, stained carpets and curtains and scratched table and chairs. The wooden panel of the bed was dirty with someone else's oily head prints. Yuk.

Both bath and kitchen are ok, must have been refurbished quite recently.

The hotel is in the red light district but also close to the lake and old town. I did not feel unsafe, even for me a woman.

Worst thing though is that the staff and even the manager in charge are incredibly rude. I have never experienced such a bad behaviour, especially the head of reception is really really unfriendly, arrogant and on top of that not even capable of working properly. I think the manager of Residence Mont-Blanc knows that there is not much competition and therefore simply does not bother. Very sad - as well for Geneva, as this a place where many buiness travellers come to. I will stay in a hotel next time, or will try to avoid having to stay in Geneva for a longer period if time.

I stay there 15 days in may 2009 . I think they give me the most ugly room of the entire residence. Very close to a body building saloon from where was coming awfull smell of sweet and feet.
Receptionist are not friendly they look at you like an alien , if you want to stay there longer prepare yourself to be moved week after week from a room to an other with all your staff.
The only good thing is the kitchenette with microwave and all the necessary.
If you like woman company , just few meters away there is the red light district , same if you want something heavy to smoke. Like all the hotel in Geneva it's amazingly expansive and the service is certenly not a 4 star hotel residence

I cannot begin to describe the disaster this place is on the inside. The room we had was a 1 bedroom apartment for extended living booked by my husband's company for a short term assignment in Geneva (to last 4-6 months). The pictures online looked decent, and to be fair, the place looked like the pictures. The minute we walked in, we were assailed by the most foul smell. It was as if someone had cooked in there for months and had never opened the doors or windows. Additionally, there was a disgusting underlay of smoke. Just gross. All the furniture, carpets, and drapery also reeked and looked like they had not been cleaned in years. The carpets are just horrendous. Also, though the location is close to many things, including the train station, it is also on the adjacent street to the RED LIGHT district. Yes. There are prostitutes working the streets at all hours just a right turn and a 1 minute walk to the side of the building. I do not recommend, ever.
