It was supposed to be a non-smoking floor, but in the mornings and during the night, I could smell the cigarettes. Made a claim to the reception and they said they will spray the room. Spray!? I mean that is just a temporary solution for a half an hour. We requested to deal with the issue more than that. It was our last night in Geneva, finally the smell was gone. Receptionists could be a bit sketchy in terms of service and their mood.

I think Kipling would be a lot better in this hotel group.

I stayed in Geneva just a few nights as I attended a conference. This hotel is an easy walk from the train station and in proximity of lots of shops and restaurants. My room was on the third floor on the side of the hotel near the train tracks. Nonetheless, I barely heard anything overnight and the trains that started around 5 am were a whispered rumble-- nothing to disrupt you.

The bedding is deliciously cozy-- I wanted to take the pillows home with me! The hotel also provides all the toiletries you may need while traveling so this is a plus. The shower is good, there is a small but good fitness room, they offer free wifi, and there is a lovely little bar where you can enjoy an apero with complimentary nuts and olives. Overall, I thought it was a winning spot and I would happily return. Oh, and the staff was delightful.

Anyone complaining of the room size or the elevator size clearly has not traveled much in Europe. I found them both quite reasonable by European standards.

We spent a night here coming back from a ski trip to Zermatt. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the train station. Our room on the 5th floor looked on to the street. The bed was very comfortable, room was spacious with a large lcd tv and numerous channels, the bathroom good size and well equipped. Breakfast was very good and featured a varied choice of cereals, yogurts, eggs and cereals. The staff was very helpful in reserving a restaurant as well as pointing out directions. At breakfast we were attended to and asked if we needed any assistance which we didn't, though it showed an effort by all staff to serve their clients. One minor issue was the noise from the trams we could hear on Rue de Lausanne, though it did not bother our sleep, nor disturb us, I think this is an area for improvement and potentially could affect light sleepers.

I would certainly return to this hotel for brief stays due to central location and superior comfort and service.

I arrived at around 1200 to be greeting by a friendly receptionist who was happy to give me a room immediately. Having stayed in many Geneva city center Hotels this one compares very favorably. The 5 floor room was a good size, very clean and the bed comfortable. Despite facing the busy Rue de Lausanne I was not disturbed by traffic or tram noise and slept well.

The booking was made the by organisation I was working for so I am not aware of the cost.
