I viist Geneva twice a year and have done for a while now, I got fed up with the overpriced stuck-up Hotels near the Palais so I started looking for other hotels in the area and luckily for me I found the Eden, I have stayed here three times now.

Location is perfect if you are viisitng the Palais or Organizations in the area nearby, service is great and the rooms are a good size and very comfortable with everything you need. Wireless was free of charge and worked well, the hotel also gives you a travel card, all free of charge which in Geneva is hard to find! Another useful thing is all Taxi drivers know the Eden so no chance of getting lost.

And the biggest positve of all is the price, for Geneva this place is a total bargain!

Negatives: I think every room should have it's own iron instead of a communal ironing room!

Look forward to staying here again next year.

We stayed one night in late August 2011, arriving from the US to start a 2-week trip. I've stayed here several times before in the early 2000s and had a very good experience.

The hotel has a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. The staff speak English very well, and are ready to give directions, recommendations, and helpful advice. The rooms are very clean, well kept, and have plenty of room. Beds are comfortable. The hotel is just across the street from the park along Lake Geneve, and a nice long walk to the old town center. An efficient bus line runs right in front.

This is a great little hotel! Staff are wonderful..... food is superb. It's one of those rare places where you can be on your own and not feel out of place (that's a huge plus for us solo travellers). Close to the transport links (buses, boats and trams are free for hotel residents in Geneva for duration of stay). TIP! walk out the door, cross the main street, go into the Bon Repos Park and find the little taxi-boat jetty. Jump on the boat and cross the lake. Then take a trolley-bus into town, then from Central Station take the tram back to hotel (you can do this in an hour)... and it's all free with your travel card from the hotel.

A pleasant little hotel with every amenity you would expect. It would probably be a 3 star but because it was so reasonably priced it gets 4. Staff were nice and helpful, rooms clean, good shower... My only criticism would be the restaurant which served good but bland food and there's some much better restaurants nearby.
