I go to Geneva three or four times a year. I stayed at a number of different hotels in the ****-category, but was always disappointed. Then found the Manotel chain. It is by far the best hotels in Geneva in its price bracket! Tried three of the hotels, but keep coming back to Kipling. Proffessional staff, good breakfast, clean rooms, and small size makes this perfect! Will probably be time for a new lick of paint in one or two places, but I'm sure that will have been taken care of when I come next time. The Paquis neighbourhood can seem seedy at times, but at the eastern end (where this hotel is situated) it is a sweet little gay tinged area with bars and restaurants.

We had only one night in Geneva, passing through on our way to Interlaken, and this was a fine, clean hotel, in a convenient location. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room was comfortable and had a nice bathroom. It wasn't spectacular, but it was certainly satisfactory. Even though we were only there for one night, it would have been fine had we stayed longer.

Just stayed here one night on a quick trip & would use it again.

It was a short walk from the railway station & the lake so easy to get around the city. The hotel was comfortable & they had tried to make the decor more contemporary with colonial touches. The small bar & lobby area was well presented & chic. Room size was fine & bathroom quite large, we had a comfortable night although the bed was a little hard.

The room rate was very good for a Geneva hotel of this quality & location. Although we didn't have time to sample it the breakfast price also seemed reasonable & there was free wi-fi in all areas (simple to connect to).

I stayed with my wife for for 3 nights on vacation. Location is good, the old town and main train station is walking distance and there are a few restaurants nearby. The room is a decent size for a European hotel with nice decor throughout the hotel. A few things didn't work such as the scale and hairdryer. The mattresses were also very old and the staff were not helpful at all in fixing this. Service was so so, aside from the mattress issue it was good enough. The hotel served a nice continental breakfast. I would stay there again given the facilities and price.
