Stayed for three nights. Moderate room,clean with a glamorous feeling (big mirrors ). Located near tram with plenty of cafe ant restaurants around. The hotel provides a free transportation voucher that makes everybody to forget the car. Downtown is only 10min away with tram.
Nice and comfort bed, good breakfast.
We will visit it again if we're in Geneva.

Finding a good value hotel in Geneva is a challenge. We had stayed at other NH properties in Spain and the price for the Rex was moderate for Switzerland.. Location is between airport and downtown but the hotel provided free transportation vouchers and we took the tram downtown (10 minutes). The rooms were small but clean . There were restaurants in the vicinity. They had air conditioning but efficiency was marginal. Free internet was provided in lobby.

Stayed for a couple days at the end of a business trip and I have to admit this hotel was terrible even for a short stay. The rooms were tinny which is typical of European hotels but if you get lucky enough to stay on the top floor rooms then you have to bend down and walk around the room or you may hit your head on the ceiling as you are basically staying in the attic. The rooms smelled like wet wood and the elevator could barely fit one person with the luggage. The bathroom was completely renovated and very clean. The free parking is very convenient but hard to get to since you have to ask for a key at the front desk every time you get back to the hotel and return it once you park the car. I have never stayed in any other hotels in Geneva but compared to other European cities I find it hard to believe that this hotel was rated with 4 stars.

The hotel is equally distant from Airport and city center / lake .... good breakfast & good service ..... no hotel restaurants and also internet is costly & slow ..... good restaurants/pub in the walking distance .....
