This would be a decent location for someone on business in Geneva as it is right next to the central Geneva train station and therefore only about six minutes from the airport by train. That's really all it has going for it. My room was very spacious and clean but had no artwork or any kind of decoration so felt rather bland and soulless. The bathroom is separated from the sleeping area by a frosted glass partition only, so you would need to be quite intimate with anyone you shared the room with! There were only two very uncomfortable metal and cowskin chairs to sit in, which was a shame as there is adequate room for an armchair. The two single beds are pushed together to make a double. I was sleeping by myself in the room so I wanted to lie in the middle of the beds but found that they slid apart very easily and therefore I ended up on the floor! Breakfast was very disappointing - it's in a great room on the eighth floor so you do get a nice view of Geneva but the choice of food is quite poor and the quality I would expect from a four star hotel. On check-in the pretty dark haired young lady at the reception neither smiled nor made any sort of greeting when we arrived and thereafter all reception staff were quite distant. This hotel made me feel anonymous and rather sad. I much preferred the Warwick across the road, though their single room was much smaller.
