The Moevenpick is solid business hotel in walking distance to the geneva airport. The bar is nice and has piano player most times. The japanese restaurant is a positive experience and really good. To get a taxi is a difficult task, you better preorder. check in can take a while depending on the time of the day.

Just stayed here last week and havent been here for a while.

What a surprise when I went into a refurbed room. Although it is a small room it has everything you need.

Good quality bed with a choice of pillows. Nice big chair in the corner of the room to read a book or watch the TV. New TV's with a good choice of global tv for every one.

Bathroom nice if a bit small and toileties ok.

Downstairs the bar staff are very very good. They will remember the first drink of the night and also the nightcap. Which made a refreshing twist on most large hotels.

Breakfast offer a great selection from all over the world.

If you like Sushi look no further, really really good. If a little expensive.

If you fancy some fun there is a Casino in the basement, Free Beer. well little beers but they are still free.

Overall a really good hotel but there was one thing: Asked for a late checkout and on the day was told that they knew nothing about it. Confirmation of this was in a an email. The hotel had not responded. So I guess it was 1/2 my fault 1/2 the hotels fault.

It is a good location, the rooms are clean - small. The vibe is cool.....like the Swiss. The place has no soul. The service is functional and adequate....front desk tries hard. My take.....I like it since it is close to the airport....the shuttle is pretty reliable ---but it lacks...someone tell me a better place to stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Moevenpick in September 2011 for 10 days. Our stay was amazing. The hotel staff is very helpful and cater to your every need. We were upgraded to an amazing room midway through our trip. It had panoramic views of the city. On the clear days we could see all the way downtown. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful.

We mostly ate at restaurants in the city however we did have the breakfast a couple of times which was not too bad. Afternoon ice cream is a must. Lots of people stop by the hotel late afternoon just for that.

I would definitely recommend the Moevenpick Hotel to anyone visiting Geneva.
