Very clean, basic hotel in very central location a few hundred yards from rail station, and very convenient for lakeside area. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are not airconditioned and hotel is on busy city centre street, so traffic noise can be an issue if you have to have windows open

Nice hotel located in the city center near the train station, affordable rates for geneva, we had a nice, big and renovated room. Everything perfect once in the rooms, just the hotel entrance is dark and not really convenient. Nice and very helpful staff.

The hotel itself complies with the basic features but nothing else. I stayed there for 3 nights and I was not able to sleep well as the mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. The breakfast was not included and not internet at all (not even paid). I find extremely absurd than in a city like Geneva with lots of business and worldwide organisations, there may still be hotels which not provide essential things such as the internet conection for its customers.
The only good thing was its location, nothing else!

We were booked on a return flight from Geneva to London Heathrow, but due to snow our flight was cancelled and we were put in the hotel Lido for one night. The reception room was fairly clean but a bit dark, and hadn't been decorated in about 40 years or so. The Room was very basic, and felt very unclean.The carpet was scratchy and the beds were terrible. The only modern thing in the hotel was a flat screen TV. I found a huge spider down the toilet in the bathroom, and the bath/ shower was dirty.
For some reason during the night someone was playing the piano, i don't know why, and the boiler was making a loud noise.
The breakfast buffet was incredibly small and the coffee was cold, also the croissants were stale. I was very glad to get out of this hotel.
