I have stayed at this hotel many times and without doubt this is my preferred hotel in Geneva. Situated in the old historic part of Geneva and quiet, especially at night. Small but with all necessary facilities, Wifi now included. Modern rooms. Service calm and discreet. Not easy to find by car, even with a GPS! Take a taxi to the hotel and it is just couple minutes walk downhill to the main shopping area. The restaurant at the rear is very popular, but I am not so keen on it.
We stayed two nights and were thrilled with the warm welcome and friendly ,prompt service . Our bedrooms were attractive, tasteful, comfortable and wonderful bed linen. Breakfast is seved in the rooms or there is an excellent buffet with great bircher muesli, fresh fruits, ham, cheese , large choice of breads, croissant and patisserie -and included in room price. We enjoyed the Vieille Ville location and look forward to returning.
Ideally located in the nicest part of the old town , this small hotel is everything I love: classy , personal and dedicated service , splendid antique furniture , de luxe bathroom , all Hi-Fi and WIFI, exquisite restaurant ,full of atmosphere ; improved bathrooms since my last visit .
Book way in advance !!!
We selected this hotel to be away from the masses of tourists in the busy lake-front hotels, and were rewarded with a much more personalized and intimate setting. In any case it is still a city-centre hotel, but you need to be good on your feet for sightseeing, as it is a bit of a climb up the hill. Rather difficult to find by car with a navigation system, by the way, and be prepared for several loops around the area before you get in front of the hotel. We thought that these clean and clear rooms were well-designed. They preserve a certain rustic charm of the antique building they are in, they are just big enough and with all comforts. The restaurant and the breakfast were not sophisticated but nevertheless excellent. The front desk was very friendly and attentive.
