Bodily fluid stains, holes and hair on smelly faded sheets and mattress, musty smelling (deluxe) room. Stains on chairs and curtains. Needle sticking out of the pillow. Mini bar turned off and safe locked and unusable. Faded, stiff and smelly sub quality towels. No regular sized bath towels available. Found used half empty bottles of shampoo (that were never changed throughout my stay) and left overs of a toilet roll in the bathroom. Other essential toiletries available to buy for a high price! Internet only available for a relatively high daily fee. Housekeeping did not dust, vacuum or remove empty used mini bar bottles and room service trays from the room. Even if you unwisely decide to tolerate all that, it gets much worse. The hotel manager, who is better suited to work at a boot camp than in the hospitality business, rudely summoned me to my room as I was entering the lobby. Seething and angry, he furiously blurted out how deeply and personally offended he was by the puppy pee pad that I placed on the bathroom floor for my small dog to use since, ‘in this country’ they did not have this kind of thing and that he never heard of it. He obviously did not have any problem with charging me a daily fee for my dog or that there were no instructions that explain the dog taboos in this creepy hotel, nor did he have a problem with the dismal state I found the room in. I explained that I, like countless small dog owners all over the world, use this hygienic highly absorbent leak proof invention in my own home and in the numerous hotels I stay in all over the world! He then sternly and threateningly demanded me to clean the bath room since ‘the dog peed on the floor’ and remove ‘our towels’ from the floor (which a sign says is where you have to put them if you want them changed) so that he can ‘reconsider the situation’ or they will not clean my room anymore (as if they were doing that to begin with). In a state of utter disbelief, I decided to check out of this creepy hotel and go somewhere else. The manager then insisted on charging me for the remaining night. Still seething, he did not even offer one word of apology, not even a smile or a thank you for hefty sum I paid for sub standard service that is not worthy of even being called Swiss or given any star rating. I was also overcharged as this creepy hotel did not even honour the prices advertised in the booking confirmation(added the city tax and the VAT tax which the confirmation indicated were included in the price).
