Switzerland is about as expensive as it gets in Europe, and in Switzerland you get what you pay for : that's the way it works. There are few bargains, so I was pleased to pay CHF200 for my (prepaid) room An excellent fish buffet dinner with 2 dcl of wine (that's how the Swiss, and only the Swiss, sell the stuff) was CHF68 and that represents really good value in a city where you could easily pay twice that.
Just remember that this is a hotel which is geared to the expense account traveller. If your company is paying, you won't care that everything is an extra and that the bottle of water in your room is priced at $9 or the in-house movie will set you back $25. Don't even think of using room service unless money is no object. The tap water in Switzerland is just as good as any bottled water, and the sensible traveller can avoid this and the other obvious money-wasting extravagances. And you do get a free tea and coffee maker in your room.
The personnel are well trained ,professional and charming. The architecture of the building is hideous and looks like 1970s Ostblok, but hides an interior which is functional if uninspired. The location is perfect and you can get to anywhere in no time.
