If you wanna stay in a familiar atmosphere that is the place for you. Cleanliness, friendliness and the smartest general managere I have ever met: Roberta. The breakfast with soft fruit filled croissants is superb. Kinliness is everywhere. After many months I was able to sleep in a very quite environment.

I am a tour leader, during summer 2011 I had several guests staying at hotel Properzio for a total of 2 weeks. They were all of them more than pleased with the cozy hotel, the clean rooms, comfortable bathrooms, the lovely breakfast, and the familiar atmosphere of the host Roberta, she puts her heart and more to make everyone have the best of stays. I took care of the business part and she was professional and friendly. Roberta, two stars does not cover what you offer, from us you get three ***!

Great location, right beside the St. Francis Basilica, lovely building, beautifull breakie and the best hospitality I've found in Italy.

Stayed here with friends for the Feast of St Francis. Really enjoyed the stay and the hospitality of the hotel staff. The rooms are simple and comfortable. The hotel is just up the street from the Basilica of San Francesco. I would stay here again for sure.
