We stayed for one night in Assisi and we are glad we chose to stay here. It was in a perfect location for us, we were without car and caught the bus from the train station. The hotel was around 50 meters from where we were dropped off so it was not a hassle to carry our luggage to them. The room was small but comfortable with everything we needed.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the hotel in October 2011. The family run hotel is very well located just inside the city wall at Porta San Pietro a few moments walk from the bus stop. The hotel is equipped with a small elevator. Good sized, comfortable room and well appointed bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff with good English speaking abilities. Good breakfast. Assisi is a joy to visit and is best explored on foot. Do try the family run Ristorante Da Cecco a short walk up the hill. We dined there on 2 occaisons and were not dissapointed. Restaurant, although small offers a wide selection of freshly prepared Umbrian dishes and wines. Service is attentive. Highly recommended. Will stay here again.

The location is very good, easy to acess the basilica and the staff was very helpful, The room was confortable and the brekfast was excellent, delicious cakes and breads!

Hotel Berti is located just within Assisi's walls. It is a 2-minute walk from one of the Assisi municipal parking lots to the hotel. The hotel is within a 5-minute (at the most) walk of the Basilica and just steps to shops, restaurants, etc. It truly could not be in a more convenient location!
Our room was comfortable and spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful.
