On a recent tour of several Italian cities, this was my favorite hotel. Our room had a view of the valley and a full balcony. After a tiring day of sightseeing it was very pleasant to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the sun set. As a bonus, it was the time of the full moon and what could be more special than being able to go out on that balcony to view it. The food at the restuarant was great and drinks at the bar were priced right. It was only 3euros for a glass of house wine - delicious. My only regret is that we did not book any of the spa treatments listed in their brochure. I would have loved a massage but did not know what time the tour group would finish each day. For travellers on their own I think they would do well to treat themselves to one.

we spent a week in assisi surroundings and staid in hotel la terrazza for 6 nights. we enjoyed every minuet in this hotel. the room was spacious, with a nice balcony and was refreshed every day including new sets of towels, and every 2-3 days replacing the sheets. the restaurant is large and the breakfast (which was included in the rate) was good with a reasonable variety of products. we had few times diner at the hotel restaurant and the food was extremely tasty. the stuff of the hotel and specially it's manger mr. Antonio Antonely was very kind, helpful and flexible. based on all of the above this hotel is highly recommended.

Four of us (adult women - friends and family) stayed there earlier this month and loved it. The views of the valley below Assisi were beautiful and the grounds were well-cared for and attractive. The swimming pool was a plus on the very warm days we experienced there. Our rooms were very clean and adequately appointed, and the location, about 15 minute walk from central Assisi, was great.

The management was very welcoming and helpful. We stayed for two nights and then came back five days later for a night, and the management kindly let us leave extra luggage while we were away. The breakfast was fine - meats, cheeses, fruit, pastries. The dining staff also made fresh espresso and cappuccinos to order. We would certainly come here again and would unconditionally recommend it.

We liked this place, although it was a surprise in that it is not a typical Italian hotel. By that I mean the rooms were large, the lobby airy and open, the building architecturally modern. It is located on a hillside overlooking the countryside with a nice view of fields and a valley. The pool is large and modern. Breakfasts were very good, with cheeses, meats, breads, fruits and served by an attentive staff. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our only problem was finding the place, even with GPS. We finally had a local lady in a car who told us to follow her. Definitely get a good map or directions from the hotel before you go.
