We stayed one night in this hotel in assisi. We arrived in the eve and the view from reception area was beautiful. Theres free Wifi so be sure to ask reception for id and pw.

We had a triple room and the sofa bed was hard and good for my back compared to other hotels i have stayed in italy.

The bathroom was enormous and we have a choice of bathtub or shower closet. Water pressure was not too great but acceptable. However, we discovered a super huge earthroom in the room and we were not sure how did it get in there when our rooom was in the basement. Also, the rooms locations are very confusing and different rooms use different staircases. Not sure if people from olden times preferred this kind of maze structure.

Breakfast and dinner was alright but generally food from europe is always salty. Restaurant is facing the plains of umbria. Spectacular view.

Great location as it is juz outside the famous church and minutes away from shops.

I would recommend if you like traditional hotels.

We stayed here last week in two rooms and had a wonderful time. Drinks at sunset on the lovely balcony, great views from our nice room with tasteful furnishing and nice bathroom. No complaints at all. Good, quiet night's sleep, breakfast was fine.

The hotel is located in a lovely position overlooking the courtyard and Basilica of San Francesco . The hotel is typically italian with ornate furniture, The rooms are basic, but I would say you would stay there alone for the spectacular views. The rooms most with wooden window shutters, small TV, desk and chair, the air conditioning we had ran but didnt actualy work. Shower over the bath, Bathroom is basic but adequate also with opening window shutter and enclosed balcony, some people on our group got small suites, with the bedroom and lounge area opening onto a small communal terrace, lovely for an evening drink and to enjoy the stunning views.
The food in the hotel was adequate, the usual pasta, and veal dishes, with salad.

The main drawcard is the larger terrace from the dining area, which overlooks the valley, there is adequate seating for all to watch the sunset and enjoy a glass of wine while drinking in the view. Assisi is a lovely little town and well worth a visit.

The hotel does have internet access and you can buy a reasonable priced bottle of wine or beer from the local shop about 5 mins walk away.

Globus Tours used this hotel and it is close to St. Francis' Basilica. It has a great view of the valley and the outdoor dining area was lovely. The rooms were very small and most had minimal air conditioning--ours had a fan next to the bed. Beds were fairly hard. Luckily, we only stayed one evening. Complimentary breakfast was typical European. Average hotel overall compared to others on our tour. If I booked myself, I'd look for somewhere else to stay especially when traveling in summer months. Air conditioning is a must!
