“Location, room, and breakfast was beyond fantastico!”

This was my second stop during my first trip to Italy. After leaving a wonderful place in Roma, I was expecting a letdown in Siena- WRONG! What a wonderful little spot. You'd miss it on the street if you didn't know the address. Wood beamed high ceilings, clean bathrooms, and the whole place smells of sweet aromas in the morning. They brought us our caffe in the morning while we slowly woke up, before heading down to a lovely breakfast. The woman that served caffe in the breakfast area was so sweet- a perfect hostess. I strongly recommend that you have caffe and warm milk! Sigh... the warm milk in Italia is out of a dream! They set up a vineyard excursion for us with Sylvia- she was fantastic as well. I can't wait to go back to Siena, and I will FOR SURE stay here!

“Fantastic hotel! Can't wait to go back”

This a great hotel - great location, helpful and courteous staff, with comfortable rooms. What more can you ask for?

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in during all of our visits over the years. Some others mentioned a noise problem - and the hotel even provides ear plugs- but we had no problem with noise. I was worried about parking and finding the hotel - but we had no problems with the directions given by the hotel. Our room (superior) was quite spacious and so was the bathroom. Breakfast was good - and on the morning we ate there there were 2 cakes, croissants, bread, meat, cheese, yogurt etc.. We can't wait to go back!

“Amazing hotel in perfect location”

The Palazzo Fani Mignanelli is located only a few yards away from the Campo in Siena. It's in a beautiful old palace. The rooms are tastefully furnished.

Because it's right in the heart of Siena, it's not always the quietest place around. However, the noise seldom disturbs one's sleep (and the hotel provides earplugs).

It's a beautful hotel in the pefect location of the most attractive town in Tuscany. It's expensive, but worth it.

We stayed at this hotel during the August Palio and had a great time. The hotel has a fantastic location in this beautiful city. The hotel is metres from Il Campo and the views of the city are great . The staff were all very friendly, rooms very clean and location perfect. All in all a wonderful stay.

“Nice room, outstanding location near Il Campo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2010

We stayed here during our honeymoon and thought it was really nice, for the most part. Here is what we liked:
-Location, location, location: This hotel is just steps from Il Campo, without the price you would expect to pay for that. Outstanding food nearby.
-Staff: the staff was incredible, particularly Carmine who gave us great recommendations for dining, and also the woman who ran the breakfast room and cleaned the rooms gave exceptional service.
-Bathroom: The bathroom was really nice for this class of room.
-Elevator / lift: They have one.
-Air Conditioning: Not perfect, but it worked.

The only thing we didn't like was the mattress. My side of the typical 2 twin beds puched together felt like I was sleeping on the forest floor, covered in drain rock. My wife's side was not too bad.

Overall, I would recommend this property and stay here again.
