We stayed at Villa liberty for 4 nights in september 2011 and we liked most of it
1) Location : a bit away from the center and so it's quiet.
2) Parking : Plenty of parking space in front of the hotel if you're renting a car from an airport like we did
3) Breakfast : Although it's not all fresh pastries (many are bought from supermarkets), the breakfast is generous, and the variety is great.
4) Rooms : renovated, clean and spacious. The pictures don't lie : the rooms are great!
5) Price : the rates were very reasonable considering the time of the year and the renovated rooms.
What we liked less :
1) Paper-thin walls : the rooms are extremely noisy. I'm a very deep sleeper and I was awaken up twice during the night by people talking in the adjacent room! In the morning, I also thought someone was showering in our room, when in fact it was the neighbor... It's that bad.
2) I'd like to understand that Siena is a remote area, but the hotel staff couldn't speak english to provide us with information, except for one *man* (he didn't even introduce himself)
3) Service was nothing personal or special : we weren't enthusiastic about asking for information from the staff...
All in all, I would look elsewhere for my next stay because to me, the negative points outweighed the positive ones, unfortunately.
