50-75m or so from the major bus plaza, approx 7-10 min walk to the main square the heart of Siena, the convenience and friendly help from the staff more than make up for any complaints about noise (i admit-noise=action...). Happy to have a breakfast before setting out each day. All the buses go here, can get anywhere, walk all around Siena from here. I was in Siena at high season and the price was very very reasonable - and i was "tipped off" by the staff when to go and see the festive parades for the special festival during August. Siena - the place to be in Tuscany, smaller and friendlier than Florence its traditional enemy...

first of all don't watch the movie 1408 before u going to visit this hotel.
the smell in the hallways and in the room was awful. there is only one person in the hotel that takes care of all the visitors requests. and after 9 pm this person leaves, so there is nobody at the desk. the elevator is also not working after 9 pm, so we had to use the stairways.

A very nice hotel with an excellent location. Within 10 minutes you can reach every place of interest.

The hotel offer all kind of services you need for your stay in Siena. The breakfast was very good. We also loved the noise around the hotel - the noise gave us the feeling of being in the heart of ITALY.
