first of all don't watch the movie 1408 before u going to visit this hotel.
the smell in the hallways and in the room was awful. there is only one person in the hotel that takes care of all the visitors requests. and after 9 pm this person leaves, so there is nobody at the desk. the elevator is also not working after 9 pm, so we had to use the stairways.

A very nice hotel with an excellent location. Within 10 minutes you can reach every place of interest.

The hotel offer all kind of services you need for your stay in Siena. The breakfast was very good. We also loved the noise around the hotel - the noise gave us the feeling of being in the heart of ITALY.

We liked this hotel - easy to find (we drove). Free parking a few blocks away. Right inside the city walls - very charming at night. The room was a bit small, but comfortable. The bathroom was quite small, especially the shower area but we worked it out. Great central location to do day trips to other parts of Tuscany. Nice and relaxing breakfast downstairs. Friendly staff. The elevator did turn off at night - so you had to take the stairs - but this did not bother us. Had a pleasant 3 night stay - would stay here again.
