We have spent one night at this hotel and were sorry not to be able to stay longer. We rented 2 rooms to accomodate family of 4 and both rooms were comfortable, clean, nicely decorated. Bathrooms were spotless and relatively spacious. Everything (like plumbing, hot water, AC) were in perfect working order. Same applies to common areas. Breakfast was plentyful and delicious, fresh fruit, pastries, hot stuff, something for everyone. The dining room again was pretty, spotless and bright, with crisp white linens. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We were travelling around Italy for 2 weeks, staying at different places and we can only say that this place is above and beyond. I am truly surprised that other reviewers did find some faults, but based on our experience, I highly recommend it and will use again when visiting Siena.

The hotel is just basic. The ladies at the front desk however were exceptionally kind and recommended a fantastic restaurant for dinner - Ristorante Pizzeria Montalbuccio. It was fabulous and we were the only non-Italians there!! Great place where the locals eat. Breakfast was all right, nothing special. My son was just craving cold milk for his cereal instead of lukewarm as we've had all through Italy thus far!!

Please this got 1 star for a noisy room no air con overlooking a highway
2 stars for two beds put together that were purchased from the salvation army
3 stars for no globes working and moldy bathroom
4 stars for the noise from every bodies walking upstairs
I give a fifth star for hours spent trying to find it

The hotel offers a typical bland accommodation of Best Western: comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and ample breakfast, but nothing special. Good things are free parking and free Wi-Fi. Bad things are the location and price. The hotel is on the very outskirts of Siena. It is surrounded by roads, petrol stations, garages, and fences, with no convenient path to walk around. The city center is reachable by a moderately pleasant 25 min walk (slightly uphill, most of the roads lack a sidewalk) followed by an ascent with an escalator. There is an on-site restaurant that we did not try, because it looked as bland as everything around. Overall, the hotel is OK, but 120€ for the double is way too much
