“Our Italian Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2010

We spent two delightful weeks at Montebuoni, in Meitoitore. It was a return trip for us. This location is a slice of pure heaven. It is the perfect location for exploring the Tuscany region and for wandering the nearby towns. Highlights of our stay were: the visit to the nearby vineyard with our host, Daniella. We are still enjoying our olive oil! Malborghetto Restaurant in Lecchi. Be sure to take a cooking lesson with Simone! You leave as family! And visits to the grocery store in San Sano for pasta and cappucinos! The staff here is helpful and friendly. We loved every minute of our vacation!

“A picture perfect honeymmon stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2010

Absolutely beautiful setting, we stayed at Due Leoni and it was a very well decorated and furnished villa. We had a wonderful and relaxing two week stay and went on many lovely walks, including visiting the vineyards nearby, and we can thoroughly recommend the restaurant in the nearby village!! Very central location means as long as you have a car you can visit a lot of Chianti very easily!! Driving to and from Montebuoni can be a little hairy due to the single lane track and you also need a good driving map to ensure you don't get lost in the surrounding countryside.
A stunning villa in a stunning setting which we thoroughly recommend!

“Olivetta was just the essence of Tuscany”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2010

Our first visit to Tuscany and we found this simply superb site, and the house we rented with its own herb garden, looking west to the setting sun, was just fantastic

“Relaxation in a picture perfect location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2010

This was our second visit to the heaven that is Montebuoni. We stayed in a the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa La Stalla. This was a lovely villa, spacious with a huge front terrace. Plenty of space, but found the kitchen / dining layout a little cramped. Lots of couches in the lounge even a sofa bed. The top bedroom had 3 single beds, all very comfortable. The views from the villa were gorgeous. Bonus that all windows had fly screens on them, not all of the villas do. Well equiped with a microwave and dishwasher and washing machine.
Loved being able to order fresh bread and milk to be delivered daily.

The pool is divine, even as the weather was cooling down. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas.

Lovely service from the staff, all very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic local villages San Sano and Lecchi had little grocery stores and awesome coffee.

“As fantastic as the first visit...Magical!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2010

We came back here for a second time. I could not believe how wonderful our return was. Peaceful and idylic but still plenty to see if you want to explore.

We visited 3 towns South of Sienna in one day. All different all beutiful. It was thanks to the staff at Montebuoni who gave us the advice. they could nt not do enough for us and yet we never felt they were there.

It is the small things that matter and I cannot thank To Tuscany enough for arranging this holiday. Thanks again and I we will be back!
