Just returned from a week in San G. We hired 2 apartments in Fattoria Guicciardini. Very large and well equiped. Yes they are a little old but you are staying in the walls of San G !!... perfect base to see the Tuscan countryside with Siena, Florence, Chianti hills etc all less than an hour away. Make sure you do a cooking class and long lunch with Mr. Fulvio (from Il Vicario - 0039 - 338-7335641). Our family loved it ....

“Average hotel, beautiful spot”
The rooms were very big, but a bit dirty. The Location was very good, but the showers were awful. There were two bathrooms, one shower was cold, and the other was no more than a trickle. Overall we were a bit disappointed.

We stayed in one of these appartments for one night. They are quite large but the place was a bit dirty. The bathroom wasn't great, a handheld shower in the bath spurted water everywhere and soaked the bathroom. The view from the longe was lovely, looking over the Tuscan countryside. OK for one night but wouldnt want to stay for any longer.
