I was really chuffed when I got here, after paying MORE for a very budgety place in Siena earlier in my trip... but this place was spacious and lofty, and the large bathroom (and rest of apartment) was totally clean... not sure what the other people are on about. The only complaint that I have is that there was no kettle in the kitchen (as an American expat living in Britain, I have a sensibility grounded in convenience and hot beverages) And there were no hot pads in the kitchen. I have a feeling that people don't actually cook there very often. Oh, and there was a beautiful Persian cat hanging around the courtyard, who we managed to entice into hanging out with us for awhile. (Don't worry, cat-haters, he seemed to dwell outdoors) San Gimignano is so tiny, that pretty much EVERY place is a "good location," I would think. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to San Gim.
