“Nice hotel in good location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

This hotel is nicely situated in a small city like Pisa so you can go everywhere by walking.

All rooms are named after a fruit so the decoration is aligned. I stayed in the Ribes room (203) which was very nice and quite. The service was fine, particularly in the morning (the guy in the afternoon was not very helpful).

Staff very helpful with guides, recommendations for restaurants, booking a taxi, etc. The famous tower is 10 minutes walking.

“Peaceful hideaway in the centre of Pisa”

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Novecento. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant all the time, letting us check in rather early with no fuss and giving us a key for the night we knew we'd be back pretty late. We stayed 4 nights in a garden room which was almost like a little cottage rather than a part of a hotel which made it feel even more private and that we could come and go as we pleased. The leaning tower is literally 5min walk up the road. Breakfast was pretty much what you'd expect in Italy (although only permitted one hot drink which seemed a bit odd) - and probably cheaper than going out for breakfast unless you know where to go! Only negative was that the ceiling looked a little damp/mouldy. We would definitely go back.

“Great Hotel, Good Service, Great Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

We stayed for 1 night in this lovely hotel. We booked it directly with the hotel via an e-mail enquiry as their website didn't give us the option of booking a room for 2 Adults and 2 Children. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we ended up in one of the garden room with a huge king size bed and 2 single beds for the children. The room was spotless, very comfortable and quiet. It also had cable TV, air-conditioning etc. The breakfast was extra at 8 Euro per head but was worth it. Location wise it was a short 5 minute walk to the Tower and the other attractions in Pisa. Train station was a good 15 minute walk or a 10 Euro Taxi ride away. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

“Located on via de roma with a courtyard”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

Great service from the staff. Room smelt like a hospital or some strong chemical cleaners for starters. The a/c was finiky. The room was full of mold in the bathroom and throughout the room. It appeared that someone had cleaned it off but there was still large spots noticeable throughout. Okay price for the value. not really sure i would stay here again but it was quiet and it had a courtyard and it was located somewhat centrally.

Room Tip: rooms facing courtyard were quiet.

“Very friendly with good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 August 2011

We stayed here for two nights and found the atmosphere very informal and relaxed but professional too. It suffered slightly from a lack of information in the rooms and once we had estblished that you had to make sure that the windows were shut before the air conditioning worked we were very comfortable. The room was clean and it was good to have a fridge. The shower was decent and there was good lighting - something problematic in many hotels! The breakfast was a bit spartan and aimed at those with a sweet tooth (not me but many Italians!). I would however say that I would recommend it.
