Pisa is such an amazing city to walk around, and after spending a fortune in a 5 star last year, for a tiny 'junior suite', we took a proper junior suite in this fanatastic little hotel. The welcome was lovely and genuine, Our room was delightful, huge and tastefully decorated, and we could both fit in the bathroom at the same time without performing a juggling act, and the black out blinds were brilliant to take a late afternoon nap even better. Angela and her male colleague made us feel very special on our anniversary, she made excellent dinner recommendations, Gallileo was perfect. When I asked for a glass of red wine to go with my steak, the waiter brought a bottle already opened, with half remaining, and told me to enjoy myself. I did.
Perhaps becuase we had been before, we felt we could walk to the Tower in 10 mins, not long at all, but just wondering around this city brings delights around each corner.
After a simple but plentiful breakfast, we set out for another tour off the beaten track and again, discovered some wonderful sights, please take this the right way, just get lost, you will find your way back to the hotel.
We had time before the flight so I asked how long it would take to walk, he said 30 minutes, but it actually took 15, we have NEVER walked to an airport before from a downtown location, just great.
This is a great, well run, well managed, perfectly priced hotel and we will be back.

This is a great place to stay for a night while passing through Pisa. Close to airport, walking distance to train station, clean and reasonably priced. It is nothing spectacular but it is well-run with a nice breakfast included in the morning and friendly, helpful staff.

I would just like to say a big thank you to the owners ,we all had a fantastic time nothing was too much trouble,there was always a lovely smile waiting when you returned from a day of sightseeing.Our room 205 was huge,and spotless with fridge incl wine, beer etc, small tv would have liked to see one bbc english channel, breakfast was enjoyable.

With regards to getting to the hotel this was so easy,buy a bus ticket 1.40 euros in the airport, local bus to the right as you come out.Dont forget to validate your ticket once on the bus,We ask the bus driver to drop us off close to hotel which he kindly did.
Taxis yes well they charged us per person dont know if thats correct?? 16 euros total 4 people with hand lugguge thought over priced will use the bus next time.

If you fancy a day in florence just over 1hr journey about 12 euros return, florence is the last stop so relax and enjoy the scenery

A friendly hotel near to the train station but a longish walk to the Tower complex. Staff were friendly - especially Angela who was helpful with everything we needed to know and always cheerful. Room was comfortable, serviced every day. Interior was attractive. Continental breakfast plain but good quality. Reasonably priced. We would recommend it.
