The hotel is very well located near Piazza del Duomo and Torre di Pisa. You can get there in 5 minutes walking. Room was quite small, bathroom was even smaller, and what is important it needed renovation. Also smell in the room was not so pleasant.
There was no breakfast at the hotel you got room only.
Staff was friendly tried to be helpful but not always was.

Small, intimate hotel - very short walk to Tower, stall markets, etc., and short ride from airport. Computer in lobby, but also wireless in the rooms if you have your own ipad or notebook. Windows opened to overlook the street (with screen!). Great, inexpensive restaurants also steps away. Desk personnel very helpful and kind. Room very clean (with fridge), but do not expect lots of space in the room. Since it was off season already, the balcony in the photos was closed...but that didn't detract from our stay. Day we were to leave, there was a taxi & bus strike, and they arranged a car service (same price as taxi) to the airport. Good value for the cost - would return in a heartbeat.

This hotel is very close to the tower, friendly staff, and decent rooms with a/c, en suite shower/bathroom, Sky TV, fridge and tea/coffee facilities.

This is an excellent hotel for the price, location and staff.

I stayed at the Hotel Francesco for four nights in September and at 80 Euros a night, it's a pretty good deal because they give you unlimited free internet access and there's a fridge, a water heater and air conditioning in the reasonably sized rooms. The people were very nice and the hotel has a good vibe. It is NOT elegant but is a good option for seeing Europe on a budget, if indeed that's still possible.
