We stayed here for one night and were all but too happy to leave early. While it is in a fabulous location to the leaning tower, the rooms are not what are advertised. The double bed we stayed in was two singles pushed together. One spring and one slate, both different heights and neither comfortable. Sheets were dirty and the towels provided were hand towels. The air-conditioner was broken- leeching water all over our bags on the floor and not providing any cool air. And while we were there, my husband left his wallet in reception. He went back for it 5 minutes later and it had disappeared. The staff claimed no other guests had been through reception, hence we figure only the staff could of taken it. We searched everywhere while they watched and stated they would help. They did however give us directions to the police station to make a report. Thankfully the restaurant and shop next door were wonderful and helped us out. The accommodation advertisements states stairs but it is actually 4 flights of stairs within a building with other residences and no lift. Very dark and dingy. For what you pay in Pisa, it is not worth the money. If the actual accommodation was not disgraceful enough, the theft by staff was..
