We had only planned to stay here one night but ended up staying for five because we were so happy with our room, the location and really liked the town of Lucca. We got upgraded to the amber room with a kithenette and window looking out to the back of the property with a simple garden and very useful outdoor garden where we barbecued a couple if times. The owner/manager Roberto was very welcoming and helpful too. My boyfriend and I loved this place because it was such a wonderful surprise, we felt we got alot for our budget and loved the independence thus guesthouse afforded us. Would highly recommend it to seasoned travellers on a budget and would particularly suggest spending the little bit extra for the rooms with kitchenettes if you are planning on speding more than one night.
