I just returned from a 4 night stay at the Villa Aurora and had an awesome time.

It's really a beautiful little hide-away and the view alone is worth the price. I loved the modernized bathroom- everything was new and spotless.

Great food and drinks at the bar and the restaurant is really high-quality.

Easy bus ride in and out of Florence and up to the top of the hill where the hotel is in Fiesole. Would recommend to anyone.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Villa Aurora in Fiesole and had nothing but pleasant experiences. This hotel is a prime example of how classic Italian hotels should be. It has a terrace bar with great food and wine. The service was awesome. We found ourselves at the bar each night before going to dinner just to sit and relax and take in the gorgeous views of Florence. The views alone are simply to die for. Not to mention the live music that we were lucky enough to enjoy on a Friday night (which I believe is weekly during the summer).

The restaraunt was some of the best food I've found in Europe and the best during our trip by far. The lobster pasta is a must with some of the freshest pasta and lobster you'll ever have. My boyfriend got a steak that was to die for. Hats off to the chef. Not to mention the lengthy wine list that will please anyone's pallet.

The rooms were comfortable and relaxing. They have the nice, classical feel with the modern benefits that one would expect from the finest hotel including jacuzzi tubs, A/C, satellite tv and so on. The pool was also a great place to relax. It is small and relaxing and hidden from view behind trees to provide privacy from the outside world.

Overall, our stay in Fiesole was the highlight of our trip to Europe and we would go back in a heartbeat. Just put us on bus #7 to Fiesole and we would be two happy campers.

Very disappointing. The place is firmly fixed in the 1970's. Would have gone out of business long ago were it not for its prime location in Fiesole overlooking Florence. Avoid.

The hotel is just magnificent! We booked the 2 nights in early July. The staff is veru nice and you can't get a better position with a georgeous view of florence. In this old villa you can find peace and consolation that you will never find in the city. I will highle recomend this hotel to my friends
