It is a nice plaсе with kindly people! And of coursе, very good location.

I was exhausted after a long train ride from Rome to Siena and than a bus from Siena to Florence. It was 8:30 pm and I was looking forward to a hot shower and a nice cozy bed that this place offered (from the photos, it looked warm and inviting...). I get there and there is no sign because it is a B&B so you have to walk up to the buzzer. There was a cheezy Post It note that said I have to phone her instead. At the same time, one of her neighbors came home and asked if my phone was able to call (this has occurred many times according to neighbor) and I told her luckily I bought international service. I called and "Maria" answered and stated that check in times were until 7PM so too bad! She "supposedly" emailed me several times.. LIE.. she "supposedly" called me.. LIE.. I asked if she could let me in. She answered: NO you stay out on the street. So I had to go to the Hotel De La Ville down the Street. She texted me an hour later: if you come back in 10 min, you can have room, if you don't come, I will consider it a "NO SHOW". WOW... Unbelievable.

We stayed here for 5 nights, and it was very comfortable. The hotel is very near the main train station of Florence (Firenze). It is also near the city centre where most of the major tourist attractions are located (eg. less than 5 minutes walk to the famous Duomo).
Susan who prepared our breakfast and do up our room was great and friendly ! The breakfast was very good and the room was kept tidy and clean. Maria the owner was also helpful in allowing us a late check out at 3pm for us to catch a train at 3:30pm.
A little tip: if you are looking for this hotel, follow the address and look for unit number 3 on Via del Rondinelli street. Do not look for the name of the hotel from the street as you won't find any.

My wife, 5 yr. old son and I really enjoyed our stay. We wish it could have been longer. Maria was extremely nice & helpful. Breakfast was terrific. The room was nice, spacious, clean and quiet. Also one of the best things about the stay is the location. You are within walking distance of the train station, and pretty much a 5 minute walk to all the most well known sites in the center of town. Highly recommend staying at Soggiorno Rondinelle!!
