We spent 4 nights at the De Benci prior to going to Chianti & liked it so much we decided to stay another night at the end of our vacation. Carlo was a very helpful host. The location is wonderful with all of the wonders of Firenze just outside our door step. Our room was large, especially the Bathroom shower. A nice change from many European units. The room was also a fair size, although it was dark since the shutters did not open, so it was necessary to always have lights on. That was ok with us, we spent very little time in our room! It was very clean, comfortable & well located. The daily breakfast provided with very adequate with cereals, toast, pastries, coffees, lattes, juice, fresh fruits..what more does one need. We would certainly recommend and would stay there again. Thank you Carlo for a great stay.

We have been stayed in De' Benci B&B for 4 nights. B&B is good located near Santa Croce basilica and very close to Uffizi gallery. The room is very spacious and furnished with a furniture in Florentine style. There is free unlimited Wi Fi connection.
Carlo the owner is very pleasant and helpful. We were allowed to stay in the room till our flight in the evening.
The only disadvantage of the place is a street noise in the evening. The room has good noise isolation but still you can hear it.
Overall: very good value for money to stay in historic center of Florence.

The room was extremely large. There was a dresser, desk, a seating area plus a king bed and a single bed. The bathroom was large and very modern. Carlos, the manager, was very pleasant and most helpful. It is definitely a walk from the train station but the location was near the Uffizi Museum, the Arno River, the Duomo, etc. You can hear some street noise but I think this might be true at many hotels that are above restaurants and bars. The breakfast was okay, nothing great.

Unfortunately only spent one night in this wonderful, enchanting B&B... The photos do not do the rooms justice. This are simply inspiring. The owner is a really friendly helpful guy who is passionate about his business... It really made the trip to Firenze a dream.

Despite feeling like you had jumped back in time, all mod cons are available.
