We stayed at AC Firenze for a week. Rooms are very clean, modern and tastefuly decorated.Minibar is refilled daily for free. which is a huge plus if you ask me. And you can always go up to the gym and take a bottle or 2 from the fridge if you need to. location of the hotel is not an issue if you ask me.Its 10 15 mins stroll to the center. We enjoyed walking to and from the hotel everyday. Everyone in the hotel was very helpful and cheerful.Breakfast was good and had a good variety of choices. You can choose to sit inside or outside. We had dinner at the hotel once on our last night, and i have to admit it was best food and best service we had on our trip to Italy. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when i go back to Florence.

Very large and soft bed (high quality: just for your comparison I'm sleeping on a bedding king top at home).
Large room, fully equipped, with minibar included.
Bathrobes for the bathroom and slippers.

I eat at the restaurant, probably not the best in Florence but very nice.

No wifi, breakfast with a limited choice (small buffet) not bad but limited.

I stayed at AC Firenze for 3 nights January 19-22, 2012. My friend and I don't usually mind staying outside of the city center, but the walk to AC Firenze was not pleasant. The C2/C3 buses stop running really early (before 9 PM), too early if you want to have dinner in Florence and travel easily back to the hotel. The little bus is really crowded even on Saturday morning (this is coming from a NYer). Taxis are expensive. I also found all the glass and the laminate floors echoed the sound. I could hear everything. There's a shallow glass sink and they give you this ridiculous golf ball soap that rolls every where. They charged 9 euros for each person to use the internet for 24 hours, which is outrageous when other hotels offer it for free. Breakfast was OK, didn't have any other meals there.

We only spent one night here in August 2011 during a road trip across Italy.

Very modern (and new) hotel. Very comfortable rooms. We picked this hotel based on the Marriott's reputation. We were also driving, so we wanted a hotel that would be easy to access by car and with on-site parking available (upon check-in in fact, they suggested a place where we could park behind the hotel that would be free overnight).

The hotel is walking distance to the various attractions in Florence, although we were lazy in the evening and found taxis to/from the hotel were relatively easy to find for a few Euros.

We found it to be good value for money.
