This four-room B&B is an absolute gem right by Ponte Vecchio, in the heart of Florence. The structure is quite modern in an old building, with very clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. There's a shared kitchen with all day coffee/snacks. There isn't a buffet breakfast, just some pastries and great coffee. Everything is self-service. There is a cleaning lady every morning who helps with any queries you may have. The owner, Eva, is such a sweetheart and a very helpful lady. She also owns a delish restaurant 'round the corner, La Posta, which serves authentic Tuscan food.
The Wi-Fi connection at the B&B is free and excellent.
There are maps at the reception free for all, and some brochures available for any tours; wine, bikes, cooking, etc.
My only negative experiences was the noisy neighbourhood, after all, you're in downtown!
And, the cold in the room... there is some silly law in Florence that all heating should be turned off from mid April... But I asked for an extra blanket and was perfectly fine.
I truely recommend this place if you're on the go, and like me, spending most of your time in meetings outside.
