My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was a great base for exploring the city. We walked everywhere and had no problems getting around as it was centrally located and easy to find. The room was spacious and the common areas were nice and well maintained. Breakfast was basic but good.
One problem we experienced was with the wifi. For the life of us we could not get on the network and there were other guests there complaining about the same problem. There was one guy who was able to get on and everyone else was unable. We called the proprietor but she was not on site and her staff were unable to help.
Overall this is a great guest house in Florence for leisure travelers with a moderate budget; a huge step over a hostel situation but one or two notches below a branded hotel. I would recommend it to anyone except maybe business travelers.
