“Elegant and family-friendly accommodation”

Our family stayed at the Serristori for the Christmas holidays and had a wonderful stay. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating to our need with a small child. The hotel resembles more of a cozy apartment than a hotel and had plenty of space to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Each room is tastefully designed and well-maintained. The kitchen area was well-stocked and it made it easy to cook some meals inside the room. We will definitely return for our next trip to Florence. It's central location, friendly staff and gorgeous interiors is hard to beat.

The Serristori Palace truly lives up to it's name.
From the hospitable service, to the wonderful apartment to the extremely convenient location, it is certainly one of the most wonderful stays I have had in Florence.
Having traveled to Florence regularly for the last 2 years, I have lived in and seen my fair share of hotels and residences. in my books., this residence comes close to perfection.
I would definitely recommend this residence to any person who visits Florence.

“The only place we will ever stay in Firenze”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 December 2011

Our family has stayed at this property 3 times in the last 3 years and I have referred a number of friends and acquaintances. It is best considered an apartment rental than a hotel. The spacious accommodations and the reasonable rates make this the ideal place for a family to stay when in Florence. It is conveniently located in San Niccolo directly across the Arno from the heart of Florence's center. It is a 15 minute leisurely walk along the Arno River to Ponte Vecchio or just 5-7 minutes to the closer Ponte alle Grazie which is only a couple minutes from the Basilica Santa Croce. The small but adequate kitchen made the stay even more economical and more intimite as we enjoyed shopping at local food shops allowing us to have breakfast and snacks in our apartment instead of having to go out for every meal. The maid service was a couple times a week but this only made the experience more private and there was always someone at the front desk in the mornings to speak with if there was anything we needed. The property is clean and well maintained. Some of the modern amenities are a bit outdated like the television in the room but there is wireless internet. There is no parking if you arrive by rental car but I would not venture to drive in Florence anyway. Taxi is the most convenient way to get around if your destination is too far to walk but most sites were within 20 minutes and walking the streets of Florence is definitely a part of the experience. A walk up the hill behind the property to the Piazza Michelangelo and even further up to the basilica San Miniato al Monte is good exercise and offers beautiful vistas of Florence. Getting taxi service required a little instruction from the hotel manager. If you call from the telephone in your room the taxi service is alerted to your location and usually arrives within 3-5 minutes so be ready to go when you call. The pleasantness of our stay was highlighted by the friendliness and accessibility of the hotel manager who spoke English and always had a smile and helpful tips for our stay.

Room Tip: The hotel has a good on line website were each of the apartments is shown.

“Outstanding location, wonderful apartment, excellent service”

My husband and I spent a week at the Serristori Palace while we explored Florence and Tuscany. The location of the hotel, a ten minute walk across the Arno to the Duomo, was outstanding. Our apartment was spacious and we had a gorgeous view of Florence from our balcony. Our neighborhood had many wonderful restaurants, a great bakery, and small but well-stocked grocery stores. The hotel staff delivered excellent service and helped us navigate bus routes and locate great restaurants and gelato. Serristori Palace and our week in Florence were the highlight of our month-long trip to southern Europe.
