We were very lucky to have received a generous free upgrade to this chic boutique appartment block. Perfectly located, just a 2/3 minute walk from the main Dome landmark in Florence, you can be sure you'll be away from the main 'touristy' neighbourhood. The apartment had the very latest finishings with perfect facilities in the apartment all round. Despite the staff offering to make reservations for restaurants, taxis and even your shopping, they were undoubtedly the best hotel/apartment we stayed at through our trip in Italy!

Only draw back is the view from the apartment wasn't the best, but then again it was still pretty awesome!

Residence Hilda was the perfect choice for me and a girlfriend in Florence. We called the day before and asked the concierge to find us a wine tour in Sienna, since it was the off season, we weren't too hopeful, but the staff at Residence Hilda found us the perfect tour we booked as soon as we arrived. The room was more of an apartment and the perfect size for the two of us with room to spare. Located just blocks north of the Duomo and right around the corner (literally) from the Accademia, we found this location to be excellent for all our sight-seeing needs.

Look no further for your hotel in Florence, Residence Hilda is it.

There is not much to add to previous reviews. We stayed in one of the appartments as a family. It offers the space necessary to keep kids happy and some privacy to the parents. There are a lot of restaurants and the Accademia right around the corner.

The only suggestion I would have for the hotel owners: It might be better not to put the appartment number on the key...

The three days I spent here were delightful. Beautiful spacious rooms, excellent facilities and generous and helpful hosts made this the perfect place to stay in central Florence. I would not hesitate to come back to Florence and the same can be said for the Residence Hilda. perfect place to stay in a perfect city!
