Laura Laura Laura! Book and you will see! Wonderful person working there! The place was AMAZING! I felt like I had booked like a millionaire! It seriously is with in a block of everything you want to see! The accomodations were beyond belief... gourgous!!! Now it is hard to find because it is not a hotel per se! Look for the big door and a small sign that says first of florence by the door! Ring the bell and the doors open like Harry Potter! Right down the street to the Douma and museums!!! Look to the right for a resturant with outside tables and ask for Micko.... Not the one right across the street but down toward the Douma (Dome) EAT THERE... fantastic food! He will keep your from being lost! Tell him his American friend who got lost recommended the food there! Also.. we ate there every meal... the service and Steak is to dye for!!! First of Florence has fine wood, track lighting at your feet! I wish I was on my honeymoon... because the place is so BEAUTIFUL! Full kitchen and washer and dryer!~ Free wine and food... so you can make breakfast or a sandwich! BOOK IT THERE!!! I was real proud of my pick here! It is worth every dollar! Laura is a private concierge for the small few hotel rooms! SERVICE!!!

I defenitely recomment to choose First of Florence if you head at Florence:
We have rented room for 4 people, and it had 2 levels (1st bedroom and livingroom \ kitchen at the 1st level, another bedroom at the 2nd level). We had all we dreamed for, and even more - wellcome fruits and bottle of wine. On top of that we paid only 40 euro per person so it is really affardable. The hotel is in the very center, so you are in walking distance to everything.

Dirty, you will find dirt on your bed and soffa .They are also rude , extremelly rude. They will cheat you in all possible ways also. I lived a nightmere there.

We had the most amazing stay of our Italian holiday at First of Florence. We had a stressful drive into the city and were greeted at the front door and valet parking was organised for us straight away. Our room was absolutely beautiful and a welcoming fruit basket and bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Breakfast each morning was provided at a gorgeous cafe across the road and the food and service there were great. The location was perfect and in walking distance to all the main sights, restaurants and shops. Laura and staff were incredibly helpful and courteous. We would recommend First of Florence to all our friends and will return there again without hesitation when we return to Italy.
