The service was great, room service food was delicious, and the rooms are nice and clean. The view from our room was also really nice. We had read previous reviews about it being far from the city center and issues with the free shuttle, but we luckily didn't have any problems. We stayed during New Year's, so there were a lot of people and the shuttle did always fill up pretty quick. My only complaint with it is that they only run it once every hour, but it only takes 15-20 minutes to get downtown so they could run it at least twice an hour or have 2 running. Then they take 2 breaks at the most inconvenient times for a few hours. And they also charge way too much for wi-fi. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone visiting Florence.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel while on a Globus tour. The rooms were very clean, with a beautiful washroom and comfortable beds. Hotel includes continental breakfast in the morning which was very good, and great ammenities like a beauitful pool and gym. It is a bit far from downtown, but this did not effect us as we were on a tour. By far the coziest hotel we stayed in while in Europe.

I am actually not giving so much of a review of this hilton as sharing a piece of information. I live in Rome, and travel to Florence quite a bit. This Hilton is outside of the center, but has a shuttle to the train station in the center. The hotel is modern, clean, has nice rooms. I have no complaints about this hotel.

My issue is this. I am in the process of making a reservation for this Hilton for next week. I checked the rates (advance purchase and regular rates) and found a great advanced purchase rate of 70 euros. This hotel always has great rates, so I always stay there.

But when I put in a search for AAA rates, the rate jumped to 100 euros. I searched over and over, triple-checking these rates, and I found increased rates for AAA vs the rates offered without the AAA membership. What is the deal with that Hilton???

Nice hotel, with a great executive lounge with great meal spread for both breakfast and dinner. Room was small, and hotel was far from any attractions, luckily provided a shuttle to and from town. For vacation I would suggest a hotel closer to city center, for business perfect hotel.
