For someone looking for basic and relatively inexpensive accommodations, Antiche Armonie is probably just right. We were hoping for something a little more comfortable, so we were disappointed.
We were prepared to do a lot of walking every day, so the 10-minute walk to the train station/city centre was not a problem, though it did sometimes prevent us from going back for a rest before dinner. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Bedroom was clean, and large windows facing the street did not allow street noise. The bed was made up every day, and towels freshened every other day.
Unfortunately... We did not find our bed or pillows comfortable and slept poorly during our stay. As mentioned by other reviewers, breakfast consisted of packaged toast and pastries in a city of amazing fresh baked goods. Our bedroom was almost too small for two people, and lacked comfortable seating. No wi-fi, and either our TV or remote (or both) didn't work. The pressure and temperature of the shower were excellent, but the shower itself had considerable amounts of mildew around the bottom edge and in the grout lines.
Overall, not bad enough to make us look for somewhere else to stay, but not what we look for in accommodations.
