just back from 3 nights in antica dimora firenze and was not dissapointed. i chose it after reading the recomendations online. i fell in love with the nice beds and was not dissapointed. I had been warned about lack of heating in ialian hotels.....but not here. First thing we noticed was the warm and cosy atmosphere. Lovely central heating.
would definitely stay again .
The hotel was centrally located and felt like a private flat in the heart of the city.
The rooms were spacious and the salon was warm and provided a place to rest. I went with my mother for Christmas and they helped to arrange everything for us from museum reservations, wine tasting in Chianti, Christmas lunch and pretty much anything else we needed.
Our room had excellent terrace, comfortable beds and excellent water pressure in the shower :) A luxury when traveling in Europe!
I wouldn't stay anywhere else and would definitely return. We enjoyed our trip :)

I wish that I had discovered Antica Dimora years ago! Tucked away on a quiet street near San Lorenzo, it is an ideal location, with all of the main sights in easy walking distance.
We arrived very late on the Friday night (around 2am), and the hotel very kindly arranged for someone to wait up and let us in.
The photographs of the hotel look great on the internet, and the rooms are even better! Very cosy, with beautiful furniture and four poster beds. The bathroom was good and very clean too.
The staff were fantastically helpful. They took care of everything from booking restaurants for us, telephoning museums to check opening hours, and when we forgot some valuable items in our room, they arranged for a courier to send them to England, with no trouble at all.
When we come back to Florence, we will definitely stay here again. I will be reccommending it to all of my friends and family also. I could not reccommend this hotel more highly.

Stayed her earlier this month for 3 nights on our trip to Florence. Absolutely loved it. The location was central the main museums, shopping, and great restaurants. It was clean, nice, the staff was friendly. I just couldn't ask for a better stay. Will definately stay here again next time I am in Florence.

Just spent 4 nights at the Antica Dimora Firenze and enjoyed every moment. 10 minute brisk walk from the Duomo and 5 mins from La Academia. Beautifully decorated. Clean and quiet. Staff really friendly with helpful advice re where to eat and where to visit. Lovely breakfast. An oasis for tea and cake in the cosy, comfortable lounge after a day's sightseeing. Will definitely return.
