Hotel needs to provide more assistance for young families (including a high chair and not placing families up on the 3rd floor with no escalator). Airconditioning in rooms good but there wasn't anything in the breakfast room.

This place is a dump and I don't mean by anyone's standards. We had to put clothes sprayed with scent over our noses to cover the stench of sewage in the hotel and our room. The train station had a better smell than our room. On the positive side they do have wifi and do have a great location but so do most in Florence.

We live in Europe and have stayed at many hotels. We aren't hotel snobs at all, but this is by far the worst place we have stayed in.

STAFF: Bad, rude, seemed angry at times. They smoked in the lobby.
HOTEL: Small, that's ok. No elevator, no problem, that is ok for us. But, the banister was loose and I did not feel safe on it. Hallway smelled bad, beds smelled bad.
LOCATION: Perfect!! was 10 minute walk to the Duomo and 20 to the Uffizi museum. Train station is pretty much across the street and the markets are two blocks away.
BEDS: Not beds, cots, bad by any standard.
BATHROOM: Potty/shower combo. Not cleaned, had a smell and mold.
LINEN: Clean.
I would not stay here again and would not recommend to anybody but the most budget minded folks. If teenagers on a backpack tour want a half step up from a hostel stay here.
