“Awful!”

Stayed for two nights and the washroom they gave us downstairs reeked of sewage, it was disgusting. The room was beside the dining area and we didnt bother with the food. The place is walking distance to the stazione and surrounding attractions though. The room was slightly bigger. The sheets smelled like they were soaked in vinegar ( although a great disinfectant, not very appealing to the nose when sleeping). One worker was rude. We had to beg for towels. The place has a villa vibe but i wont be returning.

“Stayed One Night... was alright!”

we only stayed here for one night at the end of the holiday around italy.

the room was satisfactory and quite clean. had air conditioning and good windows/shutters.

quite noisy out on the street but it was a saturday night. the location was good. about ten minutes walk to the Duomo and 5 minutes to Piazza de la republica.

a pleasant stay but the bathroom was a bit shoddy with broken panels around the shower that had been sellotaped back on. a bad design, but it was alright and good value.

“Basic, but an extraordinary value.”

It's not a "luxury" hotel but we felt it was a great value for only 45 Euros a night for a triple-room. Don't expect carpets. The walking location was terrific, the staff was helpful, and the hotel was clean despite some minor cosmetic issues. We found the neighborhood to be quite culturally diverse but not deserving of the negative comment in some of the reviews. I would stay there again. Check the map before you walk; it's actually only a couple of blocks from the train station. Breakfast was only 3E but we opted for the nice coffee shop w/ great pastries on the corner, which cost even less.

“Dont stay here, Even if it is cheap...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2010

We chose this place because of its location and price from what we saw online, bad idea. We stopped here on a day trip to Florence before moving on to our next destination and we couldnt wait to leave! The rooms smell, the wall had writing on it (from 2002) there was mold around the shower, bad part of town , last but not least...HORRIBLE BED! My rib hurt from the springs hitting me and we couldnt sleep on opposite sides we had to sleep in middle cause the bed was broke and that were you rolled anyway. People smoke in rooms and hallways so that was horrible. We probably slept 1 hour, got up at 5pm and went and stayed at the train station till our train was running! If youd rather be at a train station then the hotel its a BAD IDEA
