This is a very nice place to stay. My single room was twice the size of other b and b and small hotel rooms I have stayed in in Europe. The public rooms are so lovely and inviting with beautiful furniture. The elevator worked perfectly and was an asset. Lovely wool blankets wer just the thing on cool nights in early November. Breakfast was light, in the European manner, but very fresh and well-presented. This convent is within walking distance of the railroad station, the Pitti Palace, shopping and the Cathedral area. But it is not so close you feel swamped by tourists. The garden outside the hotel was perfect for a couple of early evening picnics. Very well kept and beautiful
