We found this hotel without big trouble with our GPS. It's on a hill and you need to drive a narrow and deep way up. The hotel is in a nice old building and the hotel staff is helpful. It's also a plus that the hotel had free parking and free wifi.

We had room 9 which is on the ground floor. The room is spacious but only had 1 heating in the big room and it is close to the door. So it's a little bit cold during the night in the bed. The furniture in the room is vintage style and we like it. The room is also equipped with mini bar, flat TV and tea maker.

The front desk works from 8 AM to 8 PM. They can offer bus schedule and bus ticket. Remember to buy the bus ticket from the hotel, the price is 1.2 Euro / person. Buying on the bus will cost 2 Euro / person. The No. 37 bus is just down the hill and it takes about 20 minutes to the Florence city center. The way from the bus stop to the hotel takes about 15 minutes walking. The road is very dark at night and the hotel can offer flashlight if you want.

We stayed in the hotel during Christmas time and there's no bus in the afternoon of December 25th. We took a taxi from Piazza Mechelangelo and it costs 25 Euro. The hotel can offer pizza and sphagetti for dinner but not on Christmas night.

Another thing to remember is the wifi password is only valid for 5 hours. So if you want to be online all the time, you need to get a new one every 5 hours.

Generally, the hotel is nice if you have a car. It's also nice to stay in a peaceful neighbourhood and get away from the crowd in the city. I'll appreciate it more if the room can be much warmer.
