“Terrible service and attitude from staff. Won't be back. Good location.”
We prepaid 5 nights for 3 rooms for our 6-member family (our 4 kids aged 22 thru 14). Since there was an electricity problem with some rooms, they gave us a suite, with terrace, to accommodate 4 of us. That was totally fine. Since the suite had a small kitchen, equipped with utensils, pots, etc., we decided to use it to cook a couple of meals there. We unsuccessfully tried to light the gas stove so we asked for help. The guy in turn just repeated how the knobs had to be turned, and nothing else; when I insisted no gas was coming out of the burners and suggested there may be a gas valve specific for the suite's gas use, he just said he did not know the specifics of the gas stove functioning. When I suggested he called someone that could know about it, he just said "Oh, they would kill me!", and did nothing else. 3-4 hours laters, by coincidence, we found, in fact, a valve to open the gas flow, and could finally use the stove. Also, one of the bath's light went off, and they ignored the request to replace it. Our kids had to use the bath, and shower, in the dark. The terrace was dirty, and had old, discarded furniture on it. The second "room" was just an area with 2 twin beds that was separated from the living area by a curio cabinet and a flimsy, ugly cloth that served as "curtain". We showed interest on reserving a tour to the Tuscanny area, but were waiting for some details that the hotel guy would get for us to finally make the tour reservation. The reservation was made by the hotel even though we did not confirm wanting the reservation, since we had not received any more info on the pending details. Oh, then we were the "bad" guys: the staff won't even return our "buongiorno"!
