I'll definitely recommend for someone looking for a stay at this price point. It is walking distance to almost all the places you need to visit in the Florence city.

The B&B rooms are spacious, clean, and covers the basic necessities. Most B&Bs do not have lifts but they make up for this with an assistant to help with the luggages but this place do not - so something to take note of if you don't travel light.

We stayed here for 2 nights in early September and loved every minute. The location is fantastic...we walked from the train station upon our arrival and then everything we wanted to see/do was in walking distance of the front door. We upgraded our room for a few extra dollars and it was well worth it. Our room was huge with a fireplace. The staff were extrememly nice and helpful. I will stay here whenever I visit Florence. Don't expect a big American breakfast....grab a cup of coffee and a yogurt and go explore. My only complaint was that the shower curtain was a bit musty.

If for no other reason than staff, this place would rate 4 stars as they are so helpful but the rooms are spacious, clean and airy too while the location is excellant with quick access to the tourist sites. You must climb the steps so onsider this if you have a large suitcase.

Good location right by the duomo.a warm welcome with plenty of local knowledge.the room for 4 has a fantastic view and is a real treat!
